The WANDELI, Shijing and other wet-cutting machines are becoming more and more popular on the market among tilers. These machines have high productivity, clean cut and straightness, thanks to high speed of 80 m/s and water supply in the cutting zone.
However, all masters will be disappointed in their work when they install discs designed for dry cutting on the surface saw blade. After a short period of time, the blade will retract to the side. This is not surprising, because dry cutting discs use a hard, durable bond that does not self-sharpen when water is applied. Water-cooled discs require a soft, viscous bond.

Distar took great care in developing the disc for such machines. As a result of a series of tests on WANDELI machines, a special 4.5" Hard Ceramics Advanced disc was brought to market.
